I was screenshotting fusion recipes and losing track of which parts I actually had. This is the fix — tap off parts as you collect them and the recipe glows green the second you're ready to fuse.

I was screenshotting fusion recipes and losing the thread on which ones I actually had two-of-three parts for — unusable mid-game. Wrote up the whole spiral on dev.to, then built the tool it was clearly asking for: tap off parts as you collect them, and the recipe glows green the second you're ready to fuse. It was harder than it seemed to make a gallery where anyone can upload their image. We had to create a backend where there is a manual approval process which meant including a Gmail sign-in process and connecting to a cloud-based upload library. But it all works. Check out the Gallery here.
After Exp. 003's break-even math turned into a whole debate, I built the simpler tool I actually wanted: pick two droids and their tier, and it points to whichever upgrade earns more CPS per chip. No typing, no settings — just two dropdowns and an arrow. Launch it.
Wrote up the whole saga of trying to build a calculator for the "Super Rebirth" reset in Fortnite's Droid Tycoon mode — four rebuilds, real research, and a debate the community never actually settled. Filed under Failed, but a good one. Read the postmortem.
